Achieving Better Health and Fitness With Alkaline Water

Many of us understand that the consumption of clean water on a daily basis is crucial to maintain optimal health. Especially if have an active lifestyle, it is important to replace the water we lose through throughout the day. One of the most important reasons as to why maintaining hydration is critical, is because it may allow our body to utilize various nutrients more effectively and efficiently. Not only that, but it can also assist our body to flush out unused calories and nutrients that are consumed.

In this article, I will explain as to why alkaline water is the best water for hydration, health, and fitness. There are more and more people that are switching their water to alkaline water, including of well-known health advocates and fitness celebrities such as: Dolvett Quince from “The Biggest Loser”’, Jullian Michaels, championship body builders Dan Hill and Wade Lightheart, and sports teams such as the NY Yankees and the LA Lakers. Also, there are many other celebrities, actors, and wealthy people whom now consume alkaline water.
One of the primary ways in which alkaline water may assist in health and fitness levels, is due to its’ ability to neutralize acid waste that is stored in the body. Acid waste, in multiple ways, can hinder overall muscle gains and fat loss. The primary ways in which acidic waste can increase is from unhealthy foods, stress, unhealthy drinking water, and environmental pollution. Primarily, the reason why acid waste can hinder muscle levels is because it is known to reduce IGF-1 levels (insulin growth factors).
Also, when considering the ability for water to assist in weight loss, it is important to become aware of its ability to neutralize toxins from the body. The reason for this is because the body has a way of protecting various vital organs from toxic waste, primarily by storing the waste inside fat cells and tissue. So, by detoxifying the body with alkaline water, there will no longer be a need for the same amount fat cells which are there primarily to store acid waste.
Since most types of drinking water that is popular, such as bottled water, tap water, distilled water, or even regular filtered have an acidic pH, they can then cause the body to become more acidic. However, on the other hand, alkaline water has the opposite effect by assisting the body to alkalize towards a balanced body pH level. When the body has a balanced pH, it is not too acidic which is primarily caused by an abundance of stored acidic toxins and waste. The term pH stands for potential hydrogen, and the higher the pH the more abundant drinking water is in antioxidants, provided the pH isn’t influenced by alkaline chemicals such as lye or products such as baking soda. For the body, a higher pH means better oxygenation for the cells. Also, having a balanced body pH is beneficial because it has a lower amount of acidity and toxins that can be harmful towards the overall health of the body.
Another benefit that alkaline water can have towards health and fitness levels, is primarily due to its ability to provide much more effective hydration. When the body is hydrated on a superior level, it is then better able to burn fat and to detoxify from toxic waste more effectively. When the cells in our body are overly dehydrated, they are unable to transport toxins through waste expelling organs such as our bladder or perspiration glands. Clean healthy water is of crucial importance, as it acts as an agent to carry toxins outside of our body. However, since alkaline water has a smaller cluster size compared to tap water(3-5 molecules per cluster versus 14-20 molecules per cluster), it is able to reach deeper into the body to provide more thorough hydration for each cell, and is also able to reach more cells.
Alkalized water is very similar to the water that is found in fruits and vegetables. Two main similarity factors is that they both have hexagonal molecular shape, and they both help to detoxify the body. Water with a hexagonal shape has a much lower retention rate, which  allows the body to absorb the water without using as much energy and effort. Also, since they both are abundant in antioxidants, they can help to detoxify the body from toxins, and can also assist in slowing down the aging process.
Currently, alkaline water is popular and widely used especially in Asian countries. In Japan, where alkaline water is most popular, 1 out of every 5 households owns a machine that produces alkaline water. Also, the first household unit was introduced to the Japanese market in 1958. On the other hand, alkaline water has been getting a lot of attention for the past decade, but is still unknown to the general populace. At the current rate in which alkaline water is gaining attention, it won’t be long until the technology will be as popular as it currently is in Japan.
